Honestly, if I had a pound for every person who’s told me they hate having their photo taken, usually followed by a mention of the “Chandler Bing smile”, I’d be absolutely rolling in it.

My job is to help you feel relaxed and completely at ease. I want this to be as pain-free (and actually enjoyable!) as possible. I promise you’ll enjoy having your photos taken by me and if you don’t, I’ll buy you a doughnut.

If you’re feeling extra shy, I’d really recommend booking a couples shoot. It’s a great way to get comfortable in front of the camera, see how I work, and gives us a chance to get to know each other a little better before the big day.

I started taking photos back in 2003 because I was an emo and that’s just what emos did. I studied Photography throughout college and went on to complete a degree, graduating in 2010. After that, I continued shooting recreationally, photographing the odd wedding here and there.

In October 2013, I decided to take photography seriously, with a gentle nudge from some supportive humans, and launched Ellie Grace Photography. So yes, it’s safe to say I’ve been doing this for a long time.

The wedding world is constantly evolving, and I evolve with it. One thing that never changes though, is my approach to wedding days and my style. Equipment changes, trends come and go but you’re always getting me.

That’s absolutely fine as I don’t really consider myself a traditional photographer at all, and I don’t think your wedding day needs to follow any set rules either. My role is simply to document your day as it unfolds, in whatever way feels right for you. Whether you’re planning something big and bold, small and intimate, or doing things a little differently, I’m here for it.

You can expect anywhere between 200–1000 images, depending on your day. If you’ve got lots happening and choose my largest package, you’ll receive a whole lot of photos. If you opt for a smaller package, there will naturally be fewer images but they’ll still tell the full story of your day.

Film can be added to any package however it is subject to availability so please do let me know if you're enquiring about film when you do. The best way to go through how it works in detail is to have a quick video call, so we can chat through the process and options.

I absolutely love shooting analogue photography at weddings. There’s just something so raw, beautiful, and unique about film that digital simply can’t capture, it brings a completely different feel and depth to your images that I adore.

Yes! I work on my own, so you’ll have me on the day, from start to finish. I don’t outsource or send associates, which means the person you book is the person who’ll be there capturing your day.

If your plans require a second shooter, I can bring in someone I trust completely and have worked with before, who shoots in a similar style to mine and understands how I work. This is available as an optional add-on and is ideal for larger weddings, multiple locations, or if you’d like extra coverage of different moments happening at the same time.

I use your dinner time as my opportunity to sit down, eat and rest for a while as you don’t want pictures of your guests stuffing their faces. So if you've booked me for the day I do need feeding! It’s also incredibly helpful for me to be fed when you get fed and not right at the end. This means I can have a rest, refuel and be ready to jump up when the action starts again so it’s definitely worth having a chat with your caterers about this.

If you are within a 10 mile radius of Sheffield then the travel is included but any more than the 10 mile radius of Sheffield then I charge 45p per extra mile.

I like to say delivery is anytime between 4–8 weeks. If it’s ever going to take a little longer than that, communication is key and I’ll always make sure you’re kept fully up to date.

You’ll also receive a preview 3–4 days after your wedding, so you won’t be left waiting to see anything. It’s a small snippet of your gorgeous day and something lovely to keep you going while I work through the full gallery with care and attention.

Everything is delivered online, so you’ll receive a password-protected online gallery. Your gallery will be available for one year, giving you plenty of time to view, download, and share your images. Just make sure you download everything and store it somewhere safe before the gallery expires.

The first step is simple, send me an email or fill out the enquiry form with all the details about your day. Don’t forget to include as much information as possible so I can get a clear picture of your plans. Once we’ve checked the availability of your date, the next step is a video call.

If you’re local to Sheffield and would prefer to meet in person, we can grab a coffee (or a beer!) instead. At this meeting we can talk through everything else in detail from your plans and ideas to any questions you might have. If you’re ready to book after that then it’s a simple sign of the contract and pay the deposit then we’re good to go.
