Sophie + Ben | Wedding Dress With Pockets at West Mill Derby

Yep, you read that correctly, I have titled this blog “Wedding Dress With Pockets”, why you ask? Because Sophie wore one of the best dresses I have ever seen and it had pockets and every single bride deserves pockets. She looked absolutely stunning so keep your eyes peeled for those dress shots.

Sophie + Podge are friends of mine, we met maybe one sweaty night at a Drum and Bass night with a can of Red Stripe in our hands and the rest is history. It was just like one huge university reunion at The West Mill in Derby, which is a beautiful venue I might add. There were a lot of tears, like, a lot. But also a lot of laughs, also, a lot. I definitely think my favourite moment of ALL TIME, not just this wedding, is when Podge couldn’t get his words of out his mouth during the ceremony so said those all famous words “take the Rachel”. Felt like hanging up my camera then and there.

I also think I could ramble on a lot about this day so I’ll stop myself but it was just so wonderful seeing these 2 beautiful human beings get married surrounded by their family and friends who all quite clearly love them so much. I think it’s pretty evident from these photos and the video just how much love there is for everyone who came to this day.
