Sophie + Nathan | Festival Wedding at Whitebottom Farm, Marple Bridge
Well… this day was a bit fun! I don’t even really know where to start and I’m going to apologise now if I mention how much fun it was and how lovely it was a fair few times. But it really was so much fun!
I met Sophie yeaaaaaaaars ago through a friend and we bonded over our love of Drum and Bass and a good party, which coincidentally were the 2 main themes for this wedding alongside it being festival themed. It was held at Whitebottom Farm Etherow Country Park in Marple Bridge, Stockport, which is where they attend a festival every year so it just seemed like the perfect place to host a wedding that suited them both perfectly.
It was a BOILING hot day and I refuse to complain when it’s hot because it’s about a million times better than rain, especially when your wedding day is based on being outside. The ceremony was delightful, they had a celebrant which is always so much more personal, and yes there were a lot of tears, happy tears of course! The speeches were hilarious, I thoroughly enjoyed them, you can see just how funny they were through the photos!
Sophie and Nathan wanted a beautiful festival filled wedding day with family, friends and music, and that’s exactly what they got! It was an immense day to be a part of and any festival themed weddings after this have got a lot to live up to.
