Tori + Dale | Retro Wedding at Hagglers Corner Sheffield

Retro Wedding at Hagglers Corner Sheffield

I was looking forward to this wedding due to it being in one of my favourite venues in Sheffield – Hagglers Corner! Tori and Dale have been married for 10 years and decided they wanted to renew their vows… so they did!!

Tori and her daughter went to Purdy’s on Abbeydale road to get their hair done which is a quaint little retro salon nestled away on the busy road, perfect start to their retro themed day. Plus it helped their hair looked spot on. Make up was done by a good wedding friend, Pacha and looked amazing as usual!

They renewed their vows in the Church of the Nazarene up in Heeley which was lovely. You could quite clearly see how much these 2 were still in love with each other and to get to do it all again with their children there and old enough to play a proper part was really lovely.

After the ceremony we all piled into the lovely blue VW camper van (obviously, can’t have a retro themed day without one of these) and pootled off to the Okeh Cafe for a little mini shoot as I thought it would be really rather fitting into the day. I think I was right! To get some more portraits we whizzed off to the old Roman Road up in Ringinglow to take in the views of Sheffield and have a little sword fight with sticks. Of course.

When we got down to Hagglers I was amazed by the amount of effort that had gone into decorating the venue. There was stuff everywhere!! It just looked like Tori and Dale had thrown their life everywhere – it was great. The food was super tasty, I even went back for seconds of the salad, yes I know, the salad. Who am I? There was a lot of fancy dress stuff scattered around to keep the kids entertained… and the big kids.

It was SUCH a lovely day and evening, I want to do it all again. Maybe in 10 years time?
