Sarah + Mike | Adventure Wedding at Mount Cook, Matlock
Sarah + Mike had me for not just one day, but for two days, and it was just glorious!
Their ceremony was in Hope church and when I set off from my house in Sheffield it was torrential rain, I have literally NEVER seen rain like it and it continued to rain, I kid you not, right up until the sign to say I had entered Hope. Even when I was at the church, it was the driest place, the weather gods were definitely watching over Sarah + Mike this day.
Between Hope and Matlock we stopped off at Curbar Edge for some lovely portraits and even stopped off for a cup of tea and some flapjack at the little truck that serves walkers and bikers in the carpark.
They had their reception at Mount Cook Adventure Centre and yes, it was just as fun as it sounds. They even came flying into their wedding party on a zippier, SO MUCH FUN! It was such a relaxed day, there was even a ceilidh which was just great to get everyone on the dancefloor.
The next day I went back to capture all the adventure stuff, the hangovers weren't too bad so people could go off and do archery or climbing. It was just all great fun and I feel totally privileged to have been a part of it.
