MJ + Oliver | Destination Engagement Shoot in Brooklyn New York

If you don't like New York, incredible scenery, out of this world light, beautiful people and love that oozes out of the photos, then I would recommend looking away now. However, if you're a normal human being and the above excites you then you simply must continue.

I recently went on a trip to New York with my pals and remembered that my friend M.J lived over there and was newly engaged so I got in touch and we agreed to meet at 6am (YAWN) in their stunning apartment which he shares with his fiancé, Oliver.

Yeah, I know, 6am? TOO EARLY. Especially because we were staying above a bar that stopped the music at 4am, so I had no sleep. However, having never shot in morning light before I can safely say that I LOVE it and it was 100% worth getting up for.

I absolutely love love loved doing this shoot. Yes it was perfection in regards to the location and light, but these 2 were just the dreamiest of dreams to work with. I've never seen 2 humans so in love with each other, it made my job so easy. 

New York is such a fun city, but Brooklyn is so much prettier and characteristic in my opinion. We hung out in Brooklyn Heights for most of it and at that time of the day it was just so peaceful and charming. Also loved getting a tour of all the mega expensive houses that one can only dream of owning or even stepping foot in.
